Our Mission

Our motto is "Golfing for a Better World." VGS Golfers exists to bring people together to experience all of the benefits of golf. We offer our members the opportunity....to save time and money on tee times, destinations, equipment and to aid those in need. To accomplish our mission, we focus on the following three tenets:

We believe that, working and playing together through golf, we can make a positive impact in our communities, our country, and the world.

This past January the nation of Haiti was rocked by a series of catastrophic earthquakes. Hundreds died and thousand were homeless. Realizing the urgent need for VGS to do our part, we collaborated with three wonderful organizations to assist them in purchasing tents and beds for the countless homeless citizens sleeping on the streets of Haiti.

This devastation is not one that can be fixed immediately. This will be a long enduring process for months and years to come. Long when the nostalgia has worn off, Haiti will still cry out for help. Long after the devastation has been a distant memory from most people’s minds, Haiti will still have a need for shelter, food, bed and medical supplies. VGS will still answer to the calls of need.

On behalf of Virtual Golf Society (VGS), I would like to personally invite you to make a difference in the lives of those who are suffering immensely in Haiti. To help promote awareness of the devastation and atrocities affecting the Haitian people, VGS is hosting a Fundraising Golf Tournament Series. On Oct 2, 2010 we will be kicking off another “Sheltering Haiti” Golf Tournament. In VGS’s efforts to support this exceptional cause, we are requesting donations from local businesses and organizations, family, friends, and colleagues. I would like the request the support of your organization in the continued outreach support and respect for human life. We are asking that you please consider sponsoring our tournament with either a personal or corporate donation.
